My Happy Tunes!

Music has the ability to change absolutely any mood. As soon as your body connects with the rhythm it’s an instant mood booster. I don’t know about you guys but I play music 24/7 –  in the car, in the shower, at my job, even sometimes to fall asleep – you can count on me to have a playlist to fit every time of day. I use music as an escape mechanism, temporarily taking me away from a world that accompanies stress and overthinking. Spotify premium has become my new best friend. Let me tell you that it is worth every penny to get UNLIMITED music to match ANY mood to create ANY type of playlist your mind desires. “Car Rides” has become my most popular playlist for those who enjoy indie, folk, alternative tunes that have the power to pop a smile onto any face. Here’s a sneak peak of my top 20 songs that you can find on this playlist that I highly recommend:

  1. Mountain Sound – Of Monsters and Men
  2. San Francisco – The Mowgli’s
  3. Jackie and Wilson – Hozier
  4. Peaches – In The Valley Below
  5. Kathleen – Catfish and the Bottlemen
  6. Good Morning – Grouplove
  7. Into the Wild – Lewis Watson
  8. Faded Heart – BORNS
  9. Wish I Knew You- The Revivalists
  10. You’ve Got The Love- Florence + The Machine
  11. Flaws – Bastille
  12. Giants – X Ambassadors
  13. Avalanche – WALK THE MOON
  14. What You Know – Two Door Cinema Club
  15. Leaving It Up to You – George Ezra
  16. Flowers in Your Hair – The Lumineers
  17. Young Folks – Peter Bjorn and John
  18. When We Were On Fire – James Bay
  19. Midnight Movies – Saint Motel
  20. Oxford Comma – Vampire Weekend

Exploring music is a huge part of finding yourself. Its completely acceptable to not follow the in crowd when it comes to music taste. We all vibe differently and even sometimes cohesively. What I suggest to those searching for a new beat is to explore every type out there! Once you find your sound, anything is possible.
